Brighton v Liverpool – Line-ups, stats and preview
Match preview for Brighton v Liverpool
Liverpool head to the south coast on Monday night looking to steer their Premier League campaign home on a high.
Both sides have had mixed fortunes in recent weeks. Brighton impressed in last weekend’s win over Wolves, while Liverpool have dropped points in back-to-back matches, leaving them in danger of going three league games without a win for the first time all season.
For Arne Slot’s side, this is also the final away fixture of the campaign – and while they haven’t lost any of their previous six final-day trips, recent away form has been patchy, with two defeats in their last three on the road.
Brighton, on the other hand, have lost just once in their last seven home matches, and with several key players returning, Roberto De Zerbi’s side will fancy their chances of finishing strongly in front of their fans.
