Man Utd make enquiry to sign "special" £60m Chelsea star with Bryan Mbeumo
Manchester United have now made an enquiry to sign a “special” £60 million star from Chelsea alongside Bryan Mbeumo, according to a recent report.
Man Utd are interested in multiple forwards
The Red Devils have prioritised wrapping up deals for Matheus Cunha and Mbeumo before they look to strengthen any more positions this summer. Ideally, United would have had a deal completed for Mbeumo before now, but given their ongoing talks over payment structure with Brentford, it has delayed their plans to pursue other targets.

An agreement has reportedly been reached.
The Premier League giants are going to have to move players on before they look to continue buying, but once a deal is completed for Mbeumo, which is expected before their USA pre-season tour, signing a new striker could become a top priority. It’s been reported this week that United are considering a move to sign Ollie Watkins from Aston Villa. The Red Devils consider the England international a top target and a “key target” for Ruben Amorim.
But Watkins is not their only option, as United are also said to be weighing up whether to sign Dominic Calvert-Lewin on a free transfer. United have held talks with the English forward, and he is one of several options they have.
Juventus’ Dusan Vlahovic is another option that is under consideration by United, as the Serbian international could soon become a free agent, as Juventus weigh up terminating his contract. But there is now a new name in the mix and one that may take United supporters by surprise.
Man Utd make enquiry to sign Chelsea striker Jackson
According to journalist Nabil Djellit, Man United have submitted an enquiry to sign Nicolas Jackson from Chelsea.
It is claimed that there is a possibility that the forward does leave the Blues this summer, once the Club World Cup is finished. As well as United, Aston Villa have also made an enquiry to get an understanding whether a transfer is possible. Teams from Italy, such as Napoli, are also interested in signing Jackson, who could leave Stamford Bridge for around £60 million.
Jackson, who has been dubbed “special” by journalist Rahman Osman, joined Chelsea back in July 2023. The 24-year-old scored 14 goals in 35 Premier League games in his first season, and he followed that up by scoring 10 goals and recording five assists in 30 league games last season.
However, ill-discipline has thrown his Chelsea career into doubt, as he still has to serve a suspension in the first game of the 2025/26 season after picking up a red card in the game against Newcastle United towards the end of the last campaign.
Jackson has seen red again, as he was sent off in the match against Esperance in the Club World Cup, limiting his involvement in the competition. Amorim will not want to have a player who has ill-discipline in his squad, but away from that, Jackson has proved that he is a player who knows how to find the back of the net in the Premier League, something United are really missing.
